So, I wanted to talk briefly and give you a few specifics.

To start with the heaters need to be safe for you. The entire point of investing in your own is to gain a healthy advantage.

Rather you are looking to lose weight, relax, release deadly toxins, suffer from Fibromyalgia.

You don’t want anything that’s going to take away from your personal health goals.

Carbon or Ceramic?
In my experience ceramic are inferior for a lot of reasons. I would NEVER invest in a unit that uses them.

Why?
1) Even Heat Distribution: Carbon heaters are composed of thin carbon plates and have a much more even heat distribution area. This EVEN heat distribution is essential to get all the health and healing advantages of this technology.

2) Ceramic heaters (and cheap sprayed on Carbon Heaters) typically have hot spots which are NOT helpful. They can be dangerous and will NOT give you the even heat distribution that is so essential.

3) Typically you’ll get a faster warm up time with a good carbon heater of just 10-15 minutes. On the other hand, you’ll also have a lower surface temperature when they reach their heat capacity.

Since the surface temperature of the carbon style is lower than a ceramic, they are considered to be much safer… and… you’ll be able to withstand much longer therapy sessions. The longer you can “safely” stay in during your sessions the more health and healing benefits you’ll gain!

4) Much larger heat coverage: Carbon provide up to 400% more heat coverage than conventional ceramic. Especially if you’re thinking in terms of even heat distribution… that’s an awful lot of difference.

5) Carbon emit rays that are closer to the healing rays of the sun. (the beneficial rays of the sun not the harmful rays).

Because of this perfect-ray-micron-range the heat will penetrate deeper into your skin tissue.
Which is exactly what you’re after. In fact, without getting all technical, this is important to keep in mind:

Your body sends and receives far infrared waves at the range of 6 to 20 microns. The optimal micron output range is between 7 and 14 microns and this is known as the “Vital Rays” range.

Meaning its the range that’s the safest and most vital to your health and healing. My point is…

Look for heaters that will give you a peak human output level of 9.4 microns.

To sum up – when looking to invest in high-quality heaters…

– Invest in a high-quality far infrared sauna and you’ll get high-quality heaters by default.

– Make absolute sure your heaters distribute the heat evenly and from every direction. In fact, look for an “even” 689 in² heat surface area per large heater. This is what will not only spread the far infrared heat evenly but, also, around the peak human output level of 9.4 microns.

– You want heaters that are ”ultra-conductive” and do not have to utilize wires to conduct far infrared heat like cheap imitators.

– Quality carbon heaters should have advanced technology. They should be thin, wide, light weight, safe, non-toxic, energy-efficient… and… above all… highly effective.

– Lastly, (and this is important) the style you want will be ETL, CE, and RoHS certified.
