4th workshop in Frick, Switzerland

As previously announced, the next SAFO workshop will be held in Frick, Switzerland, on the 17th-19th of March 2005.

At the workshop there will be plenary sessions on the following themes:

  • Quality and safety of organic livestock products: Perspectives of different stakeholders
  • Researching the quality aspects of organic livestock products
  • Veterinary medicinal inputs: impact on quality and food safety
  • Researching food safety aspects of organic livestock productions and products’
  • Visions for safety and quality of animal products: delivering the promises of organic farming in the future’.

Problems with registration

Due to problems with a server at Research Centre Foulum, there have been problems with the online registration.



New deadline for registration

The server should now be up and running, but in order to make sure that everybody gets a chance to register, the deadline for registration has been prolonged to Thursday the 17th of February.

Please make sure to register before this date.


Proceedings from the SAFO workshop in Falenty

The proceedings are now available from this website and you can download them as a PDF-file. The paper version of the proceedings will be ready in approximately 1,5 month. There are papers from both oral and poster presentations, as well as reports from working groups.


Summaries in different languages

Summaries from the 3rd SAFO-workshop in September are also available from the website. We do not have the translations to all languages yet, but they will be up-loaded to the website as soon as we receive them from the translators from the various countries.
