WP 1: Co-ordination

The co-ordinator, Dr. Mette Vaarst from DIAS, is responsible for ensuring that the planned deliverables from the project are timely and satisfactory. She will liase closely with the steering committee that consists of four permanent members, who are the work package co-ordinators, by organising five steering committee meetings throughout the project. The co-ordinator reports back to the partnership from the steering committee meetings. The co-ordinator will also facilitate and encourage collaborative research among the partners by acting as a central reference point for those from outside the partnership looking for research collaborators. The co-ordinator is also responsible for the official communication with the Commission and will collate and write the final reports relaying on submission from the work package co-ordinators. The co-ordinator also collates cost statement information from all the various budget holders within the project and ensures that cost statements are accurate and timely.
