WP 2: Workshops

Partner 5, Dr. Susanne Padel from University of Wales, is responsible for co-ordinating and organising the five workshops. Partner 5 collaborates with the local workshop organisers, the editor of the proceedings and the co-ordinator of the networking WP in this task.

This work package includes the following tasks: - design of the workshop structure and programme;- identification and invitation of the speakers; - organisation of the conference venue and other infrastructure; and- organisation of field trips and local events associated with each workshop.

The final workshop will be organised in collaboration with the co-ordinator of the Technology Transfer working package (WP6, Partner 4).

The work package co-ordinator is also responsible for the workshop budget, processing of claims from the partners who attend the workshops and other project activities and the delivery of accurate cost statement to the central co-ordinator on request.

WP 2 in short

• Creation of a series of forums for exchange of knowledge and experience on animal health and welfare and food safety in organic livestock production.
• Identification of contributors for the workshops, including stakeholders, policy makers and consumer groups.
• Management of mobility budget for the workshops.
