SAFO Workshop Proceedings:
Editorial practice and publishing format
General
- Malla Hovi (MH) is the main editor of the proceedings and responsible for their timely delivery and publication. The second editor is chosen separately for each edition, according to the subject matter of the workshop.
- The proceedings are produced after each workshop and will include reports from the workshop discussion. The editors of each proceedings are responsible for organizing the feedback (reporters/chairs etc.) from each workshop.
- All authors/speakers are requested to submit a written version of their presentation/poster to the main editor either by e-mail before the workshop or at the workshop in electronic format (full authors instructions available). Any authors who fail to submit within two weeks of the workshop will be left out of the publication.
- A pdf-file of the final proceedings for each workshop will be submitted two months after the workshop to DARCOF for publication on the SAFO web-site.
- A hard copy will be printed in 350 copies in Reading and distributed to all SAFO partners and workshop delegates/speakers within three months of the workshop by MH. - The remaining copies will be delivered to DARCOF for distribution on request.
- MH responsible for acquiring ISBN number for each proceedings and submitting a copy to CAB International for referencing.
Format
- The editors maintain the right to reject a written submission and to determine the order of the papers within the proceedings.
- All authors who submit their papers on time will receive a copy of their paper in edited format and will be given a minimum of two weeks to review and accept/reject the editorial changes.
Format of published proceedings
- The proceedings will be published electronic and in hard copy.
- The electronic edition will be published on the SAFO web-site in pdf-format.
- 350 hard copies will be produced by MH in Reading.
- The format of the hard copy is:
- A4-size
- Similar lay-out to NAHWOA proceedings (header/footer/page numbering/partition/parts and chapters etc.)
- Similar "colour-coding" to NAHWOA proceedings used for covers
- Cover to reflect SAFO and the EU (not the University of Reading)
